FARNHAM HOUSE

A naturally sloping site nestled between trees within Farnham’s Area of Special Environmental Quality is always a challenge, particularly when the client wishes to replace an existing house with a highly contemporary design. Using the Mantel Panel System SIPs for the main walls and roof allowed the building to take its innovative structural form. TA was appointed to act as the client’s engineer. We coordinated various sub-contractor-designed packages, and we designed the foundations and internal structural elements that were not part of the sub-contractor-designed packages.
